About Us

The team behind EU AI Act Compliance-Check – building tools for responsible AI governance.

Why we built this portal

Webutissimo S.L. has been building websites, online shops and digital tools for small and medium-sized businesses since 2018. Through this work we saw the same thing again and again: companies were already using AI – in their content tools, chatbots, translation services or analytics – long before anyone called it "an AI system".

When the EU AI Act came into force, we noticed how much uncertainty this created – especially for smaller organisations without a legal department. The obligations sound abstract, and it is hard to tell which ones actually apply to you. We built this portal to close exactly that gap: a structured, understandable path from "Do I even use AI?" to "What do I need to document?".

Note: Webutissimo has existed since 2018 – this compliance portal itself is a more recent development, created specifically in response to the EU AI Act.

Who is behind it

Dirk Schumacher, Geschäftsführung Webutissimo S.L.

Dirk Schumacher

Managing Director

Dirk Schumacher is a support specialist as well as an expert in artificial intelligence and search engine optimisation. He combines technical support with sound knowledge of AI applications and SEO and translates both into understandable language. His standard: clear advice, reliable implementation, honest assessment. His motto: a man is as good as his word.

Thomas Bahr, Geschäftsführung Webutissimo S.L.

Thomas Bahr

Managing Director

Thomas Bahr has been an entrepreneur since the early 1990s, building and running various companies during this time. After becoming a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) in the early 2000s, he spent six years gaining extensive experience in sales. In 2018 he co-founded Webutissimo together with Dirk Schumacher and increasingly specialised in digital automation – first with chatbots and later more and more with artificial intelligence. Through continuous training he consistently expanded his expertise in these areas. In 2026 this gave rise to the first proprietary digital products, tailored specifically to the practical needs of small and medium-sized businesses.
